That's a 512GB M.2 SSD partitioned into a Windows partition (127GB) and data partition (384GB) all other partitions were created at install time because I use UEFI boot. Volume 5 D User Data NTFS Partition 1863 GB Healthy Pagefile Volume 4 FAT32 Partition 100 MB Healthy System Volume 3 E HighPerf Da NTFS Partition 348 GB Healthy
Volume 2 C NTFS Partition 127 GB Healthy Boot Volume 1 Recovery NTFS Partition 499 MB Healthy Volume # Ltr Label Fs Type Size Status Info Can anyone help me out with a few pointers? Many thanks in advance! I've read about an EFI partition that has to be in FAT32 format? I don't have one of those so I'm starting to both run out of options and get a little concerned in case I do something unrepairable. I've also tried doing "bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot and bootrec /rebuildbcd", that last command gave me the error "the requested system device cannot be found" when it found a Windows installation. I've re-sat the disk drive in case it was that. I've also got the following error at boot up "PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable", depending on what I have the BIOS set to. The message I get is "Reboot and Select proper Boot device". I've also tried different UEFI settings in the BIOS. So I'm assuming its GPT.I've made sure the disk boot sequence is right in the BIOS. I was hoping it was a case of fixing the mbr but DISKPART tells me its not a fixed MBR disk. Hi! I have a PC Specialist P17SM-A laptop that has suddenly stopped booting up.
